Contact the Editorial Desk
How to reach the editors of this independent review resource, what we answer, and how we handle corrections and complaints about our own work.
Partner's licencesRead what the desk reads
A reader in Johannesburg writes in isiZulu to ask whether a review published here still reflects the terms a broker applies today; another writes in Afrikaans, a third in Setswana, and a fourth in English. That mix is ordinary for us, and it shapes how this desk works. The editors read and answer correspondence in English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho, Setswana and Xitsonga. We do not run a call centre and we do not staff a live chat.
Where a reader writes in a language outside that group, we will normally reply in English and say so at the top of the reply. We would rather tell you plainly what we can read than run your message through a translation tool and pretend the result is a conversation.
This site is an editorial resource. It is not the broker, it is not affiliated with the broker, and it does not open accounts, take deposits, place trades or give financial advice. Messages that ask us to do any of those things will be answered with a short note pointing back to the broker's own channels, because that is the only honest answer we can give.
Know what the editors answer
The desk answers questions about the material published on this site: how a review was put together, which documents an article relied on, when a page was last checked, why two pages appear to disagree, and whether a stated term is still current as far as our records show. If you are unsure whether a fee, a minimum amount or a withdrawal condition described in an article matches what you were shown, write to us with the page title and the date you read it, and we will look at it.
We do not answer questions about your own account, an open position, a pending withdrawal, verification documents or a dispute with the broker. Those matters sit with the broker, and we have no access to its systems, no visibility of your file and no power to intervene. We also do not answer requests for a recommendation on where to put money, and we do not comment on the affairs of other firms.
A useful message names the page, quotes the sentence at issue, and states what you believe is correct and on what basis. That last part matters: a claim that something is wrong is a starting point, not a correction.
Expect a stated response time
The desk aims to acknowledge correspondence within three working days and to give a substantive reply within ten working days. South African public holidays are not working days for this purpose. Where a question needs a document we do not hold, or a check that takes longer, we will say so in the acknowledgement and give a revised date rather than leave you guessing.
Corrections to published pages are handled ahead of general correspondence. Where a factual error is confirmed, the page is amended and a dated note is added at the foot of the article recording what changed. We do not silently edit a page and we do not delete an article because someone dislikes its conclusion; we correct facts and we explain the change.
Response times are targets, not guarantees, and no reply from this desk should be read as approval of any firm, product or course of action.
Submit a correction or complain about the site
To submit a factual correction, use the contact form on this site and select the correction option. Include the page title and address, the exact wording you dispute, the correction you propose, and any document or public source that supports it. Do not send account numbers, identity documents, bank details or screenshots of a trading account; we do not need them and we will delete them if they arrive. A correction submitted without a source will still be read, but it may take longer to resolve.
Complaints about this site itself - an article you consider unfair, a disclosure you think is missing, a delay in answering, or conduct by an editor - go through the same form under the complaints option. Mark it clearly as a complaint about the site. It is reviewed separately from routine correspondence, and you will receive a written outcome setting out what was found and what, if anything, has changed. If you remain unsatisfied, say so in reply to that outcome and it will be looked at again.
We cannot accept service of legal process, notices or claims against the broker through this site, and nothing here creates any relationship between you and the editors beyond the handling of your message.
