Most visitors never send us anything. Reading pages, comparing notes, and leaving does not require an account. How long do you keep records?
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and to keep a short record of the exchange, and are then deleted or anonymised. Aggregated statistics, which do not identify you, may be kept for longer because they help us understand which reviews are useful.
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then removed. If a legal matter requires us to hold something longer, we keep only what is necessary for that matter and delete it once the matter closes.
You can ask us to delete a message you sent through the contact form, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it. Requests go through the contact form on this site.
What about children and age limits?
This site is written for adults. It discusses brokerage services that are not available to minors, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If you are under 18, please do not use the contact form or send us personal details. If we learn that a message came from a child, we will delete it and any related data.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us information can contact us through the contact form on this site, and we will remove it.
How is activity measured, and where does the data sit?
We use analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and understand how readers move through the site. Reports we look at are aggregated: they show patterns, not individuals, and we do not use them to build profiles of readers or to target advertising at you.
